NETTLE LEAF EXTRACT

Urtica dioica, often called common nettle, stinging nettle (although not all plants of this species sting) or nettle leaf, is an herbaceous perennial flowering plant in the family Urticaceae. It is native to Europe, Asia, northern Africa, and North America, and introduced elsewhere.

The nettle leaf is widely used around the world for cooking and for traditional medicine. Native Americans use it sa green leef vegetable, while in Europe it is widely used as kitchen herb. traditional Austrian medicine internally (as tea or fresh leaves) to treat disorders of the kidneys and urinary tract, gastrointestinal tract, locomotor system, skin, cardiovascular system, hemorrhage, influenza, rheumatism, and gout.

Nettle Leaf contains minerals calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, and Potassium. It contains carotens (Vitamin A derivates), ascorbic acid (vitamin C), riboflavin (vitamin B2), pantothenic acid, vitamin K1[41] and tocopherols (vitamin E).
